Join Greenwich Historical Society, DAR Horseneck Chapter and Alliance Française Greenwich for the Marquis de Lafayette “Victory lap Through Greenwich” 200th Anniversary Celebration. Hosted at the Greenwich Historical Society, with the support of the Town and several local dining establishments. The celebration will feature: a Marquis de Lafayette re-enactor; remarks by Chuck Schwam, Executive Director of the American Friends of Lafayette, descendant Virginie de Lafayette, and First Selectman Fred Camillo; period music; French pastries; a student exhibit; a film; and archival information on Lafayette’s tour in Greenwich. A special commemorative prix-fixe lunch at L’Escale will follow at 1pm.

Following the French tradition, members meet to eat this traditional dessert, celebrating the Epiphany, at the end of the Christmas season in January. Come back or become a member today for more information!
Bastille Day Flag Raising

To celebrate Bastille Day, we raise the French flag at the Greenwich Town Hall and sing the French and American national anthems in a ceremony attended by town officials and followed by a French petit-déjeuner.
